ReStore volunteers work in the store and donation center. Activities such as pricing, organizing merchandise, accepting donations and setting up displays help us keep our full-time staff requirements at a minimum while growing the ReStore.

Low overhead thanks to volunteers translates directly into more decent, affordable homes for deserving families.

Meet Volunteer Kathy Hoffman

Meet the ultimate, multi-tasking volunteer Kathy Hoffman.  Kathy works in ReStore as a cashier, pricing specialist, project specialist…whatever is needed.  In addition she sits on the affiliate’s board of directors and on ReStore marketing and steering committees.

Kathy has been working on Habitat housing since the mid-90’s and with ReStore even before it opened (she helped with the remodel).

“ReStore volunteers are an amazing group of people who work hard and have fun,” says Kathy. “We strive to constantly improve customer service and the total experience with ReStore, since it translates directly into growing our housing efforts for Habitat for Humanity in the community.”
