We are partnering with the city of Vacaville to build 10 affordable single-family homes on a vacant lot on the corner of E. Monte Vista and Scoggins. This project will provide 10 qualified, low-income, local households with a unique and affordable opportunity for home ownership.

To qualify for this affordable home ownership opportunity in Vacaville, households will need to earn between 50% and 80% of the Area Median Income, currently live in sub-standard housing, be willing to partner with Solano-Napa Habitat for Humanity (SNHfH) – by committing to provide up to 500 hours of Sweat Equity to help build their house – and have the ability to purchase the house from SNHFH by paying off an affordable mortgage.

A groundbreaking ceremony was held on June 17th, 2026 (see photos below). The ceremony marked a significant milestone for Solano-Napa Habitat for Humanity as its first-ever 10-home build, a project many years in the making.

Once complete, Harmony Village will provide a safe and stable environment where families and children can thrive.
