We are honored to have Mark Luce, Napa County Board of Supervisors Chair, the NAPA CHAPTER of North Bay Association of Realtors (NORBAR), and Jonny Karpuk, COO of First American Title Company in Napa, host friends of Solano-Napa Habitat at Mondavi Winery on May 14th. It will be a gathering of Napa County community leaders, businesses and housing advocates to identify how our affiliate can assist them in meeting the county’s affordable home-ownership needs.
Pre-development work has begun at our next Fairfield building site, located at the corner of Missouri and Taylor Streets.
Purchased in 2001 with CDBG (Community Development Block Grant) funds, this lot is being sub-divided into 3 parcels, 2 which will soon become new single-story homes for Habitat families and one which will be developed by Hanley Construction and sold as a market-rate house.
Work is now complete on the modification of the Mies/Rassin home in American Canyon, so that Eric Mies can return home from the VA hospital where he has lived ever since a hang-gliding accident left him paralyzed almost 3 years ago. Read more.
