Solano-Napa Habitat for Humanity was honored as a 2017 Nonprofit of the Year at a celebration of California Nonprofits Day at the State Capitol in Sacramento. Our organization was selected by State Senator Bill Dodd as an exceptional nonprofit organization in his District #3 community. Solano-Napa Habitat for Humanity (SNHfH) is an independent affiliate of Habitat for Humanity International, which was founded in Americus, Georgia in 1976. More than 1,400 affiliates and 70 national organizations around the world have helped Habitat build, renovate or repair more than 2,000,000 homes worldwide.
In its 28 years of existence, Solano-Napa Habitat has built 17 new homes and rehabbed many more in Solano and Napa Counties. We are proud to say that this includes the 2 new homes recently completed in Vallejo and Napa.
