As of 7/28/20: Our ReStore opened on 5/28/20 with limited hours from 10am to 4pm on Tuesday, Wednesday, Friday, & Saturday (closed on Sunday, Monday, & Thursday). Masks are required for employees and customers, and we are observing social distancing measures and abiding by current orders of the Solano County Public Health Officer. On Monday, 6/1/20, the affiliate office reopened for our employees, but not yet to the general public. Check back for details as we execute our “Project Comeback” in accordance with Solano County public health official orders. The health of our staff, volunteers, and patrons is our top priority, and we are working hard to put precautions in place so we can safely open fully when the time is right.

Through volunteer labor and tax-deductible donations of money and materials, SNHfH works very hard to be a solution to the affordable housing crisis facing Solano and Napa counties.

Homeowners buy their completed homes from Habitat for Humanity at cost and repay them over 30 years through a no-interest mortgage.

During this time of Shelter at Home and social distancing, we continue to stay focused on Habitat’s mission, pursuing new avenues to move forward our vision of a world where everyone has a decent place to live. Our entire staff is working remotely, both taking care of timely business needs in light of unfolding events and also keeping momentum on longer-term efforts and projects. We continue to connect daily through on-line video meetings, planning sessions, and trainings within SNHFH and also with our partners and the organizations with which we work so closely. So, though we may not see you these days, we are committed to sustaining our organization through these trying times, so we can continue to support those we’ve served and to be in position to serve those who need our support, but we have not yet served. When this crisis is over, the need for affordable housing in our communities will have become more urgent, and we hope you will continue to support us as we navigate the challenges we face. We stand united with our homeowners, volunteers, donors and the communities we serve in Solano and Napa counties.
Together, we are better. Together, we will get through this. And together, we will build! Stay safe.

Build with us

Building new homes and repairing existing ones that are in need of safety or accessibility repairs are at the heart of what we do. Helping families move out of poverty housing and into their own homes is life-changing for them as well as for the many volunteers who help us.
Statistics prove that home ownership creates economically vibrant communities, improves children’s educational achievements and provides family stability. The stability of a decent, affordable home brings a better quality of life that reaches far beyond bricks and mortar.
