Project Comeback: Phase 1

 In news_events, Uncategorized

Dear Habitat Family & Friends,

Yesterday was our first official day testing the waters and easing back into our physical workspace with health and safety precautions in place. We are calling this process “Project Comeback” and yesterday began Phase 1 of this journey. Our administrative staff is rotating into the office on a limited basis (while mostly continuing to telecommute – we’ve gotten good at that these past 9 weeks), and although we are not yet open to the public, it feels good to be back in our physical environment to prepare for the weeks and months ahead.

The health of our staff, volunteers, and patrons is our top priority, and we are working hard to put precautions in place so we can safely open more fully when the time is right. We will keep you informed as we execute our Project Comeback plans in accordance with Solano County public health official orders, including health and safety precautions for our admin office, ReStore, and build sites.

We look forward to the day when we can safely welcome you back and build again as a community, and will keep you posted as we plan and prepare each phase of Project Comeback with caution and diligence.

Below you’ll find a couple helpful charts from Solano County Public Health and the CDC. These will be posted at our locations and are helpful reminders of what we can be doing as a community to help keep each other safe during these times.

Thanks for your care and commitment to our organization, and be on the lookout for ways you can help us with Project Comeback in the coming weeks!

Sincerely yours,

Andrew Killeen
