15 Christmases Under 1 Roof

A Message from Habitat Partner, Stella Levigne

“We have lived in our home a little over 14 years now. During this time, I went back to school and eventually earned a bachelor’s degree in Business Administration all while working full-time and raising my children. Having this home to live in and raise my three children in has been one of the biggest blessings in my life. The stability that Habitat for Humanity has given me has allowed me to focus on the goal of obtaining a college degree and at the same time, focus on raising my children without a fear of losing our housing or worrying about if the rent is going to increase significantly. My children did not have to grow up with the disruptions associated with constantly moving and they have had the ability to focus on school and build and maintain friendships throughout the years.

Having a home to celebrate another Christmas in means stability, comfort, and the opportunity to be together and make new memories as a family under one roof. I thank God for all that he has done for us, and I have always felt incredibly blessed that our family was chosen to partner with Habitat for the home we live in. Our family expresses our most sincere gratitude this holiday season to Habitat for Humanity and all the volunteers for helping our family and numerous others throughout the years. We would not be here celebrating our 15th Christmas in our home without their efforts.”
