Congrats to Tranine Chisom!

Congratulations to Tranine Chisom, member of our Family Services Committee, for being honored last week by U.S. Rep. John Garamendi’s at the fourth annual Women of the Year event! Those honored were described as women who are leaders and visionaries who have made significant contributions to their communities through public service, business, education, local government and the military. According to an article on Patch.com, Tranine was honored as Director of Supported Housing of Caminar in Solano County, and has tirelessly worked with property owners, and city and county officials to increase and leverage affordable housing resources for our most vulnerable citizens. In addition to her work with us at Solano-Napa Habitat for Humanity, Tranine is also actively involved with Housing First Solano, and Solano County’s Neighbors Helping Neighbor-Forward Together 5-Year Strategic Plan to address homelessness.
