Mayor & LNV Help Build in Napa

A big thanks to Leadership Napa Valley (Class 31), Napa Mayor Jill Simmons Techel, and Council Member Scott Sedgley for helping out on the Napa build site on Saturday!

The group worked alongside the future homeowners, Roberto and Viviana, and were guided and trained on-site by our Habitat staff. Work projects for the team included assisting on electrical boxes, plumbing, and roof sheeting. Some volunteers got to learn how to use a skill saw for the first time, while others overcame their fear of heights, all in a safe and encouraging atmosphere.

It was a pleasure working with this group, and despite their various experience levels, everyone was up for the task!
