Give the Gift of HOME.
We are all heartbroken at the tragic loss of life and property caused by the Camp Fire in Butte County. Their catastrophic losses are particularly meaningful when they’re seen in stark contrast to our preparations for a joyous Thanksgiving. As partners in the Habitat for Humanity family, we step up to undertake acts of kindness and generosity whenever our neighbors need help with decent and affordable housing.
Disaster recovery is an increasingly important part of our shared Habitat mission. In Napa County, we are actively working with long-term recovery efforts to rebuild houses lost in the 2017 fires. Habitat affiliates across California are coordinating their efforts in response to 2017 and 2018 disasters. Our Habitat efforts are integrated with the whole disaster response community in northern California.
This season… in the midst of tragedy and joy… we hope you’ll take a moment to remember #GivingTuesday – a day set aside to inspire, encourage and celebrate giving in all its forms. Here at Solano-Napa Habitat for Humanity, we could not accomplish all we do without our generous community of givers.
This year Solano-Napa Habitat will receive matching donations for the first $2,500 in #GivingTuesday giving. All designated donations are used only for their specific purpose. Unrestricted donations open doors for new partnerships and innovative projects. Together, we make a difference!
Every donation helps us achieve our mission:
We bring people together to build decent, affordable homes and make critical repairs to existing homes in our community. Through this partnership, families are empowered by having a safe place to live and thrive.
