A big thanks to our incredible “Special Projects” team of volunteers who continued to give to Habitat even while sheltering at home. This group is so passionate about our organization that they built items to sell at our ReStore. We offered materials and drawings/ideas, and this dedicated group worked hard and created beautiful items out of reclaimed wine barrels and pallets, including cutting boards, trays, benches, adirondak chairs, stools, coffee tables, and wine racks.
Members of this “Special Projects” team include Jamie Calderwood, Hiro Yamada, Richard Kirkland, LC Naylor, Rick Johnson, Tom Wilcox, Yolanda Devore, Doug Burke, Amy Shmidt, and Roger Carr.
The items they’ve crafted are truly one-of-a-kind and have been flying off the shelves at our ReStore. We can’t guarantee which items are still in stock, but if you want to come and take a look, you can visit our ReStore during our new limited hours from 10am to 4pm on Tuesday, Wednesday, Friday, and Saturday (Closed on Sunday, Monday, and Thursday). Face coverings are required for employees and customers, and we are observing social distancing measures.
Thanks again to this creative and talented team for your skill and dedication. We appreciate you!
