Our current building project, “Habitat Corner” is now complete! We thank our staff, wonderful volunteers, corporate sponsors, individual donors and board members for their support in helping us get this project completed in 10 months and raising all the funds needed! The two selected families have completed their required sweat-equity hours and can’t wait to move in.
Keep in mind that Habitat provides families with “a hand up, not a hand out.” Our families must participate in the building process to complete their sweat-equity and they will carry a no-interest loan on their new home. The SNHfH Family Selection Committee has qualified these two families as honorable members of their community and excellent candidates for home ownership.
Meet one of our selected families for Habitat Corner.
Thank You Donors!
Solano-Napa Habitat wishes to thank all of our sponsors who are helping us complete “Habitat Corner”, especially Steve Hanley of Hanley Construction in Fairfield, who is donating all of his time leading our staff on this project. By their most generous financial donations, Gifts in Kind and volunteer hours working on the site, they have all enabled us to change this once vacant lot into new beautiful homes where two women will raise their families and become contributing members of the local community.
How can you help?
SNHfH is seeking Corporate and Individual Sponsorships for each of these homes to help us kick off construction at the site. Funds generated for Habitat Corner willbe used for things such as permit fees, utility connection fees, framing materials, enclosing materials, sheetrock, plumbing, landscaping, Etc.
Every dollar counts. Your contribution will help not just build a home it will make the dream of home ownership come true for a deserving family in need.
