The houses we have built or repaired have impacted 185 low-income members of the communities we serve. A special community project we have performed annually has also improved the housing conditions for over 800 people. Every dollar donated, every hour of volunteering, supports our mission of eliminating poverty housing in Solano and Napa Counties by providing a decent, affordable home to a low-income family that otherwise would be living in sub-standard conditions.
In addition to our local work in Solano and Napa counties, our affiliate has tithed 10% of our unrestricted funds to Habitat International’s global efforts. Thanks to these contributions from Solano-Napa Habitat for Humanity, we have helped build an additional 47 homes overseas, and have served 235 people in Nicaragua and Lesotho.
