Our two-home project on the corner of Missouri and Taylor Streets in Fairfield is now complete, and the dedication took place on Saturday, September 19th.
It was a heartfelt and exciting celebration, welcoming the Gaytan/Barron and Kenner families into their new “Habitat family”, and to thank the many volunteers, donors and sponsors who helped make the building of these two homes possible through their volunteer hours and financial and product donations.
All funds necessary to build these homes have been raised and the families have completed their sweat equity hours. Construction was completed in September and the transfer of ownership to the families took place in October. What an exciting day for all – when we handed over the keys to these two deserving families!
