The Bank of America Charitable Foundation, Inc. has awarded Solano-Napa Habitat for Humanity a $65,000 grant for low-income housing projects in Napa.  The Foundation is dedicated to providing support to organizations like Habitat, which improve the quality of life in communities served by Bank of America. This community reinvestment program makes it possible for us to fund this project and rehabilitate homes for the disabled and elderly.

Program Description

Solano-Napa Habitat for Humanity’s program offers home repairs to low income Napa County homeowners for free or very low cost.

Repairs will be focused on correcting code violations, health and safety issues, and accessibility improvements.

Program projects may include:

  • Grab bars
  • Ramps
  • Roof repairs
  • Weatherization projects
  • Water heater replacement
  • Eliminating hazardous conditions

Who should apply?

Seniors, people with disabilities, and those with financial hardships.

Unfortunately we cannot perform work on mobile homes

Home modifications/Rehabilitation may also include fall prevention modifications.

How do I apply or get additional information about this program?

1. E-mail the following information to our Affiliate office at info@solanonapahabitat.org:

  • Contact information
  • Household size
  • Needs for the home
  • Estimate of annual household income

2. A Habitat representative will contact the homeowner to complete a Permission Form and to set a time to do an assessment and cost estimate.
