Volunteer Opportunities
Habitat for Humanity ReStore offers many volunteer opportunities to contribute to operation of ReStore. We have general volunteer spots available in donations processing, sales assistance and store operations. We are always seeking volunteers for key areas such as truck drivers and pickup assistants, cashiers and ReStore evangelists.
Contribute
ReStore volunteers perform valuable community service opportunities through operating the ReStore. The funds raised by ReStore operations contribute to covering the operating expenses of Solano-Napa Habitat for Humanity.
Your volunteering efforts assure that funds donated to our charity can be applied directly towards our housing efforts in the local community. Your volunteer work makes a tremendous difference in our ability to build and remodel homes for deserving local families.
Volunteer Opportunities for Teens
ReStore volunteer opportunities for teens are a safe environment for teens to make a contribution. We can find volunteer opportunities to match the unique requirements of teens. Teen volunteers aged 16 and above can participate. You will need to get a parents signature on a waiver for ages 16-17.
Volunteer Connection
ReStore puts a lot of effort into making lasting connections with our volunteers. This starts with a hands-on orientation and continues with our volunteer handbook covering guidelines and procedures. Ongoing retention and appreciation programs help keep it fun and enjoyable.
Our volunteer program is designed to encourage long-term volunteers who will contribute over time and develop unique skill sets and an ability to evangelize the Habitat for Humanity mission and the importance of the ReStore.
