Work Begins on Napa Home!

 In news_events

We just started work on a plot of land on Saratoga Drive in Napa that will soon provide a 3-bedroom home for a local family. Site clearing is underway, and underground plumbing, foundation work, and fencing will be completed in the coming weeks. The site lead on the Napa home project is Roger Carr, who is assisted by LC Naylor.

The project is the first home built in Napa County, and will be sold to a local, deserving family, who will put in hundreds of sweat equity hours and will pay a no-interest mortgage on the home. Homeowner applications have been reviewed and the selected family will be announced soon.

“This is a momentous occasion for our community, and now with the site clearing underway, we are another step closer to making a real difference in a Napa family’s life,” said Kathleen de Vries, Development Director for SNHfH and Napa resident. “We are still raising the final funds needed to complete the home, and we are asking for one final push from local residents and businesses to help us reach our goal.”
